Trade a Lie for a Truth
Did God *really* say He’d use all things for His glory + your good? Doesn’t look that good to me... Did He *really* say peace is possible? I wouldn’t hold your breath... Did God *really* say He’d never leave you? Well then... where is He? And did God *really* say He’d give you rest? Because (no offense) you look pretty tired + defeated to me... Bottom line: Our enemy is out to kill our peace, destroy our faith, and steal our hope. How? By planting lies in our minds in hopes we take the bait. Good news for us though: Jesus came to set us free, and ”if we abide in His Word, we’ll know the truth + the truth will set us free” (John 8:32).This is the show for you if you’re ready to pick up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and stand firm in the truth, defusing every fiery dart and seizing that abundant life Jesus always gives. Join me in Season 2's SEASON FINALE with Steven Curtis Chapman and Mary Beth Chapman for an honest conversation about marriage, hardship, grace, and staying the course. I’ve Lost Who I Was Meant to Be... | with Jo Saxton
Monday May 04, 2026
Monday May 04, 2026
Have you ever looked at your life and thought… this isn’t who I thought I’d become?
Maybe somewhere along the way, between the responsibilities, the heartbreak, the striving, and the survival mode, you lost sight of who you really are. You keep pushing forward, hoping that working harder, doing better, or holding everything together will finally make you feel whole again — but deep down, you know something still feels lost.
What if the person you were created to be is still there… waiting to be reclaimed?
In this episode, I’m joined by Jo Saxton for a powerful conversation about identity, purpose, and the lie that says, “I’ve lost who I was meant to be.” Jo shares wisdom, honesty, and practical encouragement for anyone longing to reconnect with who God created them to be and step boldly into the life they were made for.

I Can Just Ignore My Pain… Right? | with Willow Weston
Monday Apr 27, 2026
Monday Apr 27, 2026
Have you ever thought, ‘I can just brush this off… and I’ll be fine”?
Let’s talk about this lie that maybe we’re living with—without even realizing it. It’s the quiet belief that ignoring our pain is somehow healthier than facing it.
So we stay busy.
We push through.
We tell ourselves it’s in the past.
It can look like strength, maybe resilience — but if we take a look at the root of it, we’d find it’s really just avoidance.
So the question of the hour is… what if ignoring our pain isn’t protecting us… what if it’s actually backfiring and keeping us stuck?
In this episode, I’m joined by Willow Weston for an honest conversation about emotional avoidance, unresolved pain, and what healing looks like when we finally stop running from what hurts. Trust me when I say this conversation is a TEAR-JERKER as we face into our pain and step into the healing God is offering this very moment.

The Lie: I Love Jesus… But I’m Not Holy | with Tasha Calvert
Monday Apr 20, 2026
Monday Apr 20, 2026
What if someone asked you point-blank: Are you holy?
Would you hesitate? Laugh it off? Maybe cringe a little? You’re not alone—and that reaction reveals a deeper belief many of us carry without even realizing it.
Somewhere along the way, many of us have come to believe that holiness is reserved for heaven—that here and now, “trying our best” is enough.
But what if that’s not true? What if holiness isn’t just the goal… but a present reality for the believer?
In today’s episode, we’re unpacking a powerful and often overlooked lie: holiness is something we strive for, but never actually live in. Join me as I interview Tasha Calvert, author of Set Apart for More. With years of Bible teaching and a passion for helping believers step into their identity, Tasha brings clarity, conviction, and encouragement as we explore what it really means to live set apart—right here, right now.
If you’ve ever felt like holiness was out of reach, optional, or “for later,” this episode will challenge and invite you into something more. Let's get into it!

New Barna research reveals a surprising shift: fewer women—and more men—are attending church. Why is that? And does any of it resonate with you?
Somewhere along the way, many women have stepped back, unsure where they fit—in the church, in their lives, even in God’s story.
In this episode, Jen Oshman—speaker, author, church planter’s wife, and director of women’s ministry at Redemption Parker—helps untangle that uncertainty and replace it with truth: you belong, your life matters, and your role is essential.
Drawing from her ministry across three continents, Jen shares practical ways Scripture affirms women’s identity and worth, along with a glimpse into her new Lifeway Women study, Very Good, designed to help women move from confusion to clarity about who they are in Christ.
Together, let’s step in—not back—and embrace our place with confidence. Because you were made very good, and you are right where you’re meant to be, on purpose.

Not a morning person? Think again.
In this episode, bestselling author and speaker Jennifer Dukes Lee joins us to challenge the common lie that mornings are only for disciplined, early-rising people. Drawing from her study of over 200 mornings in the Bible, Jennifer reveals how God meets us in every sunrise—no matter when or how we wake up.
We dive into morning rituals (not routines), uncover the concept of Morning Archetypes, and explore simple, practical ways to transform your mornings from panic to peace. Whether you’re a night owl, an early riser, or somewhere in between, this conversation will help you let go of the pressure to “get it right” and embrace the mercy that meets you right where you are.
By the end, we'll see that mornings aren’t a performance—they’re a meeting place, and we are all morning people in God’s eyes.

From Trans to Transformed | with Kyla Gillespie
Sunday Mar 29, 2026
Sunday Mar 29, 2026
Do you know someone who feels at war with their own body? Someone who loves God but feels deeply confused about who they are? Or maybe it's you who wishes you were someone else—someone designed differently.
In today’s episode, we’re trading the lie that peace comes from becoming someone else for the truth that real healing begins when we respond to God’s invitation to return to Him.
Author and speaker @kylagillespie joins me to share her deeply personal story of wrestling with gender confusion, transitioning, and ultimately detransitioning as God called her back to Himself. You don't want to miss this conversation about identity, surrender, and the hope God offers when we feel lost or divided within ourselves.... not to mention Kyla's wisdom for parents, friends, and church leaders walking alongside someone navigating questions around gender and identity.
If you or someone you love is wrestling with these questions, this conversation is filled with honesty, compassion, and the reminder that real peace isn’t found in becoming someone else—but in returning to the God who made you.

Monday Mar 23, 2026
Monday Mar 23, 2026
Have you ever opened your Bible with the best intentions—only to feel confused a few minutes later?
Maybe you’ve quietly wondered, I just don’t get the Bible.
In this episode, we’re trading the lie that Scripture is too complicated for the truth that you can study the Bible with confidence and joy—and discover the living God who speaks through its pages.
Author, speaker, and podcast host Kelly Needham joins me to talk about why so many believers feel intimidated by the Bible and how that narrative can change. Kelly shares practical tools to help you approach Scripture with curiosity and confidence, move beyond simply checking a spiritual box, and begin encountering God through His Word.
If you’ve ever felt behind, unsure where to start, or discouraged in your Bible reading, this conversation is for you.
Because the Bible isn’t a test you pass or fail—it’s an invitation to know God.

Waiting for the Light at the End of the Tunnel | with Chad Roberts
Monday Mar 16, 2026
Monday Mar 16, 2026
Ever found yourself thinking, “I’ll be okay once this is over”? Once the grief lifts, the diagnosis changes, the prayer's finally answered... you know, once you see the light at the end of the tunnel?
But what if the tunnel feels long… or endless?
In this episode, we’re trading the lie “I’ll see the light when I get to the end of the tunnel” for the truth that you can see the Light God even in the darkness.
Pastor and author Chad Roberts joins me to share his powerful story of unexpectedly losing his eyesight and discovering what it really means to trust God when life literally and figuratively goes dark.
If you’re in a season where prayers feel unanswered or the future feels uncertain, this conversation is for you. Let's find together how God doesn’t wait for the darkness to lift before He meets us there.
Because even in the dark, you can still see God.

Ever found yourself thinking, ‘I’ve followed Jesus for years—why does this still feel hard?’
If that question has crossed your mind, you’re not alone.
In today’s episode, I’m joined by Kristen LaValley, author of Growing Up Saved, who shares how saying the sinner’s prayer at a young age eventually led to deeper questions, seasons where faith felt heavy, and the guilt grew stronger.
Yet Kristen gently reminds us we can bring our real questions to a God who isn’t intimidated by them, but holds all the answers. As we do, we'll find how He uses it to deepen our roots in Him even further.
Together, let's learn how to shift from something to prove to something simply received, how to sit with questions without fearing them, and what it looks like to keep trusting God when you don’t have all the answers. God isn’t asking you to have it all figured out—just to keep walking with Him, one honest, faithful step at a time.
